
Layah Shagalow

Layah Shagalow works with teens and young adults to support them in navigating life’s challenges. She takes a trauma informed, strengths based approach to the care she provides. With a background in developmental health and human behavior, Layah also specializes in working with neurodivergent young people. She has over 14 years of experience working with diagnosis including ADHD, ASD, and other forms of neurodivergence. Layah recognizes that the experience of growing up is nuanced and complex, and is passionate about helping adolescents transition into young adulthood with the support they need to succeed as emotionally healthy people.
Layah achieved a Master’s of Social Work from Yeshiva University, Wurzweiler School of Work. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and supervisor, and holds active licensure in both MN and NY. She has also completed her ADHD-CCSP certification.
